Cosmetic Dentistry
Your smile is the gateway to your personality. It projects your desire to get to know people and invites them to connect with you. Holding back on your smile because of broken, stained or missing teeth, will directly affect the way you feel about yourself, and the way others will see you. You can take action to help make your smile an asset. Our office offers simple chairside and/or take-home techniques to enhance your smile. Talk with our staff about the available options.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening or bleaching, is a procedure that brightens teeth that are discolored, stained, or have darkened because of injury. Many types of whitening are offered, which include in-office, or take home. Your choices can be discussed at your initial visit.
Teeth Bonding
Bonding is a procedure in which tooth-colored materials are applied to the surface of a tooth. It covers discolorations, repairs chips, breaks and cracks, and fills in gaps. Often, it can be done without any anesthetic, and is usually completed in one visit.
Enamel Shaping
Enamel shaping is a process of contouring natural teeth to improve their overall appearance. This conservative process is used to modify teeth that are slightly crowded or uneven, or appear too long, helping to create harmony and balance in the mouth.
Microabrasion
This in-office procedure is performed to reduce the appearance of existing brown stains or white imperfections on a patient’s front teeth. It is a quick, painless process to resurface and polish enamel, often reducing teeth sensitivity.
Veneers
Veneers are custom, lab-fabricated porcelain shells made of tooth-colored materials, designed to cover the front side of teeth. They are used to close gaps or cover teeth that are stained, poorly shaped, or slightly crooked.
Lumineers
Lumineers are similar to veneers, but are designed to be contact-lens thin, so virtually no tooth structure is removed, preserving your natural tooth enamel. Lumineers can even bond to existing crowns and bridgework without having to replace them.
